Playgroup sessions are as follows:
Since 2004 we have been running an optional ‘Lunch Club’. Children bring their own packed lunch and the extra time costs £3 per child (Mondays and Wednesdays) or £1.50 per child (Fridays).
There is also a thriving Babies and Toddlers Session on Thursday mornings from 9.45 to 11.45.
Playgroup sessions are currently available when a child is 2 until they start school full time. A free trial visit is also offered. Children may attend 1, 2 or 3 sessions per week during school term time, according to availability. The waiting list is not operated on a first come, first served basis, but on a fairer system. A child is offered one or two sessions initially and then usually three sessions are offered during the two terms before he/she starts school.
Every effort will be made to accommodate your child on the days you require, but as numbers are limited, this may not always be possible. We will try to give you at least one of the days you prefer, and then names will be put on a waiting list. The Committee Secretary handles the waiting list and will be pleased to discuss the current situation with parents.
